  • KDC - key distribution center (used by Kerberos, provided by Active Directory)
  • NSCD - Name Service Caching Daemon (unix service usually considered troublesome in the Samba world, but Microsoft reccomends it for caching LDAP queries)
  • OU - Organizational Unit (used in LDAP/Active Directory)
